AD-HOC OR 3 YEAR CONTRACTS
Regular wall servicing of your movable wall or sliding folding door partition is part of your responsibility as a building owner/operator.
All our service contracts include regular maintenance visits, during which our engineers will inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all mechanisms and components in accordance with your wall service package.
FAULTY CARRIER BOLTS
Recent bad batches of track hung carrier bolts have been supplied by manufacturers of movable walls.
The dangerous outcome of this can be seen on the left hand side of this page.
Our service and safety check includes the checking of all carrier bolts for wear and reporting on their current state.
If any wear is picked up on the inspection, then a quotation will follow to replace the faulty bolts with higher tensile steel bolts.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
It is a breach of statutory duty under Health and Safety law if you do not regularly maintain your movable walls.
Failure to do so can result in fatality or serious injury.
Depending on usage, we recommend that movable walls are serviced and safety checked every 6-12 months.
